Big Peat Christmas bevat een flinke schep van de fijnste en feestelijke malts van het whiskyeiland Islay met Ardbegg-nog, Coal Ila, Snowmore en Party Ellen. Zoals altijd is hij er trots op om gebotteld te worden zonder toevoeging van kleurstoffen of koude filtratie. En voor de gelegenheid gaat hij op volle kracht in de fles: 53.8% ABV.
De eerste Big PEat dateert alweer uit 2009 en de eerste kersteditie kwam twee jaar later. Sindsdien heeft Peat een loyale bende groupies van gepassioneerde peatscheppers. En de meeste wachten elk jaar in spanning op de speciale Christmas uitgave.

In the months running up to Christmas we see the unique, fun packaging of his Yuletide release attract a new collective of consumers to offer the ideal seasonal gift left at the foot of the chimney, carrying the hallmark Islay character of coal dust, smoky fires and soot.”
Een kleine 3.000 dozen Big Peat Christmas 2015 zullen beschikbaar zijn via de website van Douglas Laing en de whiskyshops vanaf volgende maand. It’s a real cracker!
